Bench and Bar & Club 21 get “After Hours”
Starting this August . . . Party till 4am in the EAST BAY!
The Bench and Bar & Club 21 -- Northern California’s Premier Gay & Lesbian Night Clubs are proud to announce that starting this August both venues will offer “After Hours” Thursday-Saturday as well as special events thanks in part to a historic vote in which for the first time in history the Oakland City Council has passed a new City Ordinance which would allow Oakland Bars & night clubs to become “After Hours” venues. This new ordinance was created and passed in an effort to make Oakland an “Official Party Destination”.
Having “After Hours” will allow both venues to remain open until 4am. Alcohol sales will stop at 1:45am due to state ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) laws, but starting at 1:45am we will offer virgin drink specials until 4am.
In honor of our new “After Hours” Bench and Bar will put on a special “Customer Appreciation Red Party” on Friday, August 13th, from 9pm-4am which will feature NO COVER before 11pm for everyone who wears RED attire. This night will feature a “Red Carpet Experience” with sexy go go dancers, great drinks specials, 2 dance floors, performances, plus everyone in attendance will get a chance to register to win exclusive Shakira tickets and much more.
If you have not had a chance to check out the new Bench and Bar, this will be an event not to pass up and did we mention there is NO COVER before 11pm sharp! So put on your sexiest red outfit and let’s party till 4am… if you can handle it. The following weekly Bench and Bar parties will have “After Hours” and go from 9pm-4am – Yurba Dance Sessions our weekly House Party, Latin Explosion our weekly Latino Party, & Club Rimshot our weekly Hip Hop & R&B party. At Club 21 Black Diamonds our weekly Ladies party, our special events on Friday nights, & La Bota Loca our weekly Latin Cowboy party will all have “After Hours”.
The Bench and Bar is located at 510 17th Street, Oakland, CA 94612 and it’s sister venue Club 21 is located at 2111 Franklin Street, Oakland, CA 94612 (bench and bars former location). Both clubs are within walking distance of each other, and are conveniently located to the 19th Street BART station.

Comenzando este mes de Agosto . . . Disfruta tu noche hasta las 4am en el Este de la bahía! Los clubs nocturnos Bench and Bar y Club 21 los cuales son los clubs premier para la comunidad GLBT se complacen en anunciar que comenzando este mes de Agosto ambas locaciones ofreceran “horario extendido de Jueves a Domingo” asi como eventos especiales hasta las 4am. Esto gracias a una nueva ordenanza aprovada por el concilio de la ciudad de Oakland.
El tener horario extendido permitira a ambos clubs permanecer abiertos hasta las 4am. Aunque cabe señalar que las ventas de bebidas alcoholicas las cuales son gobernadas por leyes del ABC (Alcohol and Beverage Control) concluiran todas las noches a la 1:45am. Después de las 2am. Continuaremos la venta de sodas, agua, bebidas de energia, smoothies, etc.
Para celebrar las nuevas horas de operacion… Bench and Bar ha preparado ”Una gran Fiesta de Apreciación para todos nuestros clients llamada la Fiesta ROJA” Todos aquellos que lleguen vistiendo de ROJO podran accesar el club totalmente GRATIS hasta las 11pm. Esta noche también te traera una experiencia de “Alfomfra ROJA” con sexys bailarines, especiales de bebida, 2 pistas de baile, etc. ademas todos los presentes podran registrarse para ganar boletos para el concierto de Shakira…La cita para este evento es el Viernes 13 de Agosto, 2010. Yoruba Dance Session cada Jueves, Latin Explosion nuestra fiesta latina de todos los Viernes asi como Club Rimshot nuestra fiesta de Hip Hop/R&B de cada Sábado. En Club 21 el evento llamado Black Diamonds de cada Jueves, los eventos especiales de Viernes asi como nuestra noche regional denominada La Bota Loca de todos los Sábados que es la noche Vaquera te ofreceran horario extendido hasta las 4am.
